The linkage consists of six rods, of which the shorter ones forms an articulated rhombus PAQB, while the two long ones (also equal) AO and BO connect the points A and B with the fixed point O. The point P and Q are corresponding in the inversion by reciprocal radii with O as centre. When P moves on a circle through O, Q moves on a straight line.
